In 2001, P-Square won a competition sponsored by a British tobacco company, which funded their first LP, 2003’s Last Nite.They formed P-Square when the rest of the vocal group dispersed to go to college. Peter and Paul Okoye got their start as part of an a cappella group while in secondary school in their hometown of Jos, in central Nigeria.
